Tuner

Auto mode that detects pitch from the microphone, manual mode with a reference note you pick, and instrument presets. Drone is Pro.
The tuner: cents needle and reference note

Auto mode

  • Detects the pitch of the sound from the microphone and shows the nearest note name and how many cents off it is.
  • It detects 30 to 1000 Hz and displays a stable note.

Manual mode

  • You choose the reference note, from B0 to B5, with the knob.
  • Compare the note you play with that reference.

Chromatic and presets

  • With no preset selected, the tuner is chromatic and works with every note.
  • Selecting a preset tunes to that instrument's strings.
  • Save the presets you use often as favorites.

Cents display

  • A needle shows −50 to +50 cents.
  • Within ±8 cents it shows in tune, and within ±3 cents it shows perfect.

Reference pitch

  • Change A4 from 430 to 450 Hz in 1 Hz steps.
  • The default is 440 Hz and it is shown under the dial.

21 presets

  • Guitar Standard, Drop D, Half Step Down, Whole Step Down, D Standard, Open G, Open D, DADGAD, Open C, 7-String Standard
  • Bass 4-String Standard, 4-String Drop D, 5-String Standard, 6-String Standard
  • Other instruments Ukulele (Standard C / Low G), Mandolin, Banjo Open G, Violin, Viola, Cello

Drone Pro

  • Sustains the selected reference note.
  • Turning it on switches to manual mode, and changing the A4 reference moves the drone with it.
  • Use it for intonation practice on winds and strings or as a vocal reference.
