The practice player: speed, key and A/B section

Opening audio

  • You can open mp3, wav, m4a, aac, flac and ogg files.
  • The chosen file is copied into the app's storage, so it still plays if you move the original (iOS and Android).
  • A sample song is included so you can try it right away.

Speed and key

  • Changing the speed leaves the pitch alone, and changing the key leaves the speed alone.
  • Speed 0.20 to 2.00×, in 0.05 steps. Changeable during playback.
  • Key (pitch) −12 to +12 semitones in 1-semitone steps. KEY 0 resets it.

A/B repeat

  • Set an A point and a B point to repeat that section.
  • The section stays in place while stopped.
  • You can save named sections per song and load them later.

Loop trainer Pro

  • Repeats the section a set number of times, then raises the speed a step.
  • Set 1 to 16 repeats (4 by default), a step of +0.02, +0.05 or +0.10×, and a target speed of 0.2 to 2.0×.
  • It can stop when it reaches the target.

Audio export Pro

  • Renders the current section (the whole track if there is no A/B) with speed, key and part focus applied to an M4A or WAV file and passes it to the share sheet.
  • Album art is added only to M4A.

Recording

  • Records 44.1 kHz mono 16-bit WAV.
  • It needs microphone permission and shows the time and level.
  • The recording list lets you preview, load, delete and clean up missing files on both iOS and Android.
  • Sharing a recording is Pro.

Restoring the last state

  • When you reopen the app, the last audio file, speed, key, playback position and A/B section come back.

Bookmarks

  • Save the audio name, speed, key and A/B section as a bookmark and load it later.
  • Exporting all bookmarks to a JSON file and importing it on another device, as backup and restore, is Pro; on import you choose merge or replace.
  • Audio files are not included in the backup, so on another device you may need to open the audio again.
